Meet Richard

Richard is a Manager in Gursey’s Litigation department, specializing in complex tax issues related to family law litigation. He brings more than ten years of combined experience in both litigation and tax to his role.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, with a Minor in Accounting, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Richard also holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential and served several years as a local and state leader with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). In addition, he is an active board member of the Molina Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing literacy rates in America. His connection to the organization began in childhood, when he volunteered in its book warehouse; today, he continues his involvement as a member of its audit committee.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys baking fresh sourdough bread and cycling.
